Pot smoker has probation extended
A Mitchell woman who admitted to smoking marijuana while on probation will spend another two years on probation.
Roberta Woodside, 35, was put on probation for two years when she was sentenced for distribution or possession with intent to distribute less than one-half ounce of marijuana and possession of two ounces or less of marijuana in June 2011.
Due to the violation, Judge Tim Bjorkman extended Woodside’s probation until Nov. 1, 2015.
Woodside was also ordered to serve 180 days in jail, with credit for 60 days served. Her jail time will be served in segments, with 40 days beginning Dec. 15, another 40 days beginning Dec. 15, 2014, and the final 40 days beginning Dec. 15, 2015.
