The South Dakota State 4-H Horse Show at the State Fairgrounds in Huron is taking place this week. The four-day event includes one day of horse education and three days of competition, ending Thursday. Megan Nielson, 4-H youth livestock field specialist, said just short of 1,000 horses and around 400 kids entered the state event.
