Fruit, board games and body image all served as inspiration for Mitchell High School photographers this year.

Marica Shannon, an art instructor at MHS, said she had 24 students in the high school's spring semester photography class. Students were tasked with learning basic photography skills, such as aperture, shutter speeds, depth of field and rule of thirds. They then translated those skills into their photography through assignments.

Pictured are some of the photos from the class.
