The company formulated the roastmaster’s favorite flavor and named it “Amy’s Blend,” which is now being sold. Ten percent of Caribou’s company-wide proceeds this month are being donated to CancerCare, a national leader in helping patients fight cancer.

Locally, people can purchase and donate a bag of the Amy’s Blend beans to the Avera Queen of Peace Cancer Center in Mitchell. All month, employees at the Mitchell Caribou will wear pink in honor of Breast Cancer Awareness Month, local branch manager Lisa Blumenberg-Switzer said. She added people can purchase drinkwear and pink scarves at Caribou this month, and 10 percent of the proceeds will go to CancerCare.
