Tyson Moodie, left, of Pierre, and James Lien, of Chamberlain, both members of Dakota Wesleyan University’s soccer team, climb to the top of the scaffolding to start painting Tuesday afternoon as part of a Habitat for Humanity Brush with Kindness project at Brian Anderberg’s home in Mitchell. Students, staff and faculty from DWU volunteered for the project, which will continue today. Anderberg, associate director of youth ministry at DWU, has been fighting cancer for the past few years. Habitat for Humanity, Mitchell Fusion and DWU have sponsored various projects to help Anderberg and his family with increased expenses. (Sean Ryan/The Daily Republic)
