Noem receives Fueling Growth Ethanol Award
WASHINGTON, D.C. -- U.S. Rep. Kristi Noem, R-S.D., has received the Fueling Growth Award from Growth Energy for her leadership in supporting domestic energy production and pursuing energy independence through the production and use of ethanol.
This is the third year Noem has received this award.
"Ethanol has helped lower costs at the pump, produced thousands of jobs in South Dakota and is crucial to our pursuit of an all-of-the-above American energy plan," said Noem. "I am honored to receive this award and will continue to support ethanol and our journey to reduce our nation's dependence on foreign oil."
Jeff Broin, Growth Energy co-chairman, POET founder and executive chairman of the board, said Noem is a staunch advocate for biofuels and the role they play in supporting South Dakota's economy and saving drivers money at the pump.
