Mitchell South Dakota 120 South Lawler 57301

No one was injured after a two-vehicle accident Monday afternoon in Mitchell.

At 5:12 p.m., a 2001 Buick Century driven by Danielle Buchmann, 17, of Parkston, was traveling south on Main Street, when it collided with a 2007 Yukon Denali driven by David Muth, 41, of Mitchell. Muth was traveling west on Ninth Avenue, said Officer Paul Wilson with the Mitchell Police Division.

Buchmann had two 16-and 14-year-old passengers from Parkston in her vehicle, but Wilson did not release their names.

Wilson said Muth was cited for failure to yield after a stop sign.

Everyone involved was wearing seat belts, Wilson said.
