The Corn Palace announced Wednesday three new upcoming shows in September and October, including independent rock band The Spill Canvas and Christian rock band Newsboys.

Tickets go on sale Aug. 1. Visit www.cornpalace.com or call the Corn Palace box office at 995-8430 for ticket information.

Shows include:

• Bed of Roses: A Bon Jovi tribute band, Bed of Roses will perform Sept. 27. According to a Corn Palace news release, Bed of Roses is "not just any other tribute band, but professional impersonators covering Bon Jovi's entire career." The show will feature rock music superstar Bon Jovi's classics, as well as its new music.

"Whether you are a fan of Bon Jovi's style of today or a fan of the '80s, Bed Of Roses is the only Bon Jovi tribute in the world who performs it all for you in look, voice, music, production and costuming," the news release says.

• Reza and The Spill Canvas: On Sept. 28, illusionist Reza and indie rock band The Spill Canvas will perform. Reza, originally from Brookings, is recognized as one of the world's top illusionists. From Sioux Falls, The Spill Canvas' debut album, "One Fell Swoop," sold more than 50,000 copies.

• Newsboys: Grammy-nominated Christian pop rock band Newsboys will perform Oct. 25.

Newsboys have released 15 studio albums and have been one of the most popular Christian music artists of the past two decades. Other acts scheduled to perform that evening are For King & Country, Rapture Ruckus, Moriah Peters and Campbell.
