New business board in Pierre to meet for 1st time
PIERRE (AP) — A new business board in Pierre tasked with implementing a proposed occupancy tax involving the city's lodging industry is expected to meet for the first time Monday.
KCCR-AM reports that the Business Improvement District board was created as part of the city's effort to set a $2 per person per day per hotel room fee.
