ND holding hearing on Big Stone transmission line
BISMARCK, N.D. (AP) — The North Dakota Public Service Commission has slated a public hearing for a proposed electric transmission line in the southeastern part of the state.
The commission says the meeting is slated for April 1 in Ellendale.
The transmission line would be owned jointly by Otter Tail Power and Montana-Dakota Utilities Co.
The more than 150-mile line would run from the Big Stone South Substation near Big Stone City to a proposed substation near Ellendale.
Only about nine miles of line would be located in North Dakota.
