Stanford easily handles SDSU
Anthony Brown added 19 points and Josh Huestis scored 13 for the Cardinal (6-2), who won their fifth in six games. Stefan Nastic had 10 points.
Jordan Dykstra scored 20 points to lead the Jackrabbits (3-6), who lost their second straight. Brayden Carlson added 16.
Stanford and South Dakota State played their second-round game of the Stanford Regional although the Legends Classic title was determined Tuesday in Brooklyn, with Pittsburgh beating the Cardinal, 88-67.
The Jackrabbits won their sub-regional with wins over Howard and Lehigh in Brookings.
USD runs away from Graceland
VERMILLION (AP) — Tavian Pomlee led eight players in double figures with 16 points as South Dakota survived an early scare by NAIA Graceland University, eventually pulling away handily in a 112-85 win Saturday.
South Dakota (2-3) shot 57.5 percent from the floor and was 13 of 29 from beyond the arc.
Graceland (6-3) was led by Jamal Lawson and Austin Danner, who both finished with 17 points.
The game was tied at 60 after Graceland’s Drew Emmert made a pair of free throws at 17:06 of the second half.
But South Dakota’s Trey Norris followed that with a 3-pointer — spurring a 32-9 run — including six Coyotes 3-pointers, three by Casey Kasperbauer.
Coyote women top Wyoming 82-78

VERMILLION — Lisa Loeffler scored a game-high 24 points to lead the University of South Dakota women to a 82-78 victory over University of Wyoming Saturday.
Nicole Seekamp added 18 points, while Polly Harrington had 11 points and a team-best eight rebounds for USD (3-5).
Wyoming (4-1) was led by Kaitlyn Mileto with 21 points. Fallon Lewis followed with 14, Marquelle Dent had 13 and Kayla Woodward added 11 points.
The Coyotes shot 46.8 percent from the floor, 33.3 percent from behind the arc and 81.8 percent from the line.
USD hosts Utah State University Thursday.
