A Mitchell woman who admitted to possessing synthetic marijuana will be required to complete a new addiction treatment program as part of her sentence.
Sara Goetzinger, 23, pleaded guilty Tuesday to possession of a controlled substance. The charge stems from a law enforcement search of her apartment conducted in March.
Goetzinger received a suspended three-year prison term and was sentenced to 90 days in jail. She was also fined $250.
Goetzinger will be required to complete a new addiction treatment program through the James Valley Drug Court, which opened this month in Mitchell.
