Mitchell woman admits probation violations
A Mitchell woman admitted Tuesday to violating two terms of her probation from a 2010 conviction.
Lyndsay Lynn Hawk, 27, entered her plea during court at the Davison County Public Safety Center.
She told the court she missed three appointments with her court services officer in September and October, and didn’t attempt to start treatment. She said she had no valid reason for failing to do either of these things.
Hawk was sentenced in 2010 for identity theft and received a suspended prison term. In 2012, she violated her probation on the same conviction, but Judge Rodney Steele extended her probation for another two years.
Judge Tim Bjorkman on Tuesday scheduled her sentencing for later this month.
