Mitchell Optimist Club to hold free bowling night for kids
The Mitchell Area Optimist Club will hold its annual Family Bowling Night event on April 4. The event is open to all Mitchell area kids Kindergarten through fifth grade and their families. The event runs from 5:30 to 8:00 p.m. at the Village Bowl, located at 1500 N. Duff Street in Mitchell.
This year’s event includes two games of bowling, shoe rental, two slices of Domino’s pizza, Culver’s ice cream and a Coke product. There is no cost to participate in the event. However, the club will be accepting donations of peanut butter and jelly that will go to the Weekend Snack Pack program.
