Mitchell man gets jail time for probation violations
A Mitchell man was sentenced Tuesday to 109 days in jail for violating the terms of his probation.
Matthew Nunez, 19, admitted he brought marijuana and hydrocodone, a prescription drug, with him when he returned to a drug treatment program after a furlough.
Nunez was sentenced to 180 days in jail, with credit for the 71 days he has already served. He will remain on probation for three years from when he was originally sentenced in April.
