Mitchell man convicted in stabbing denies violating probation
A Mitchell man sentenced in March for stabbing another man appeared in court Tuesday and denied violating the terms of his probation.
Jacob Stulken, 22, is accused of consuming alcohol and walking away from a treatment program at Stepping Stones in Mitchell while on probation for aggravated assault. A suspended three-year prison sentence could be reimposed as a result of the alleged violations. Stulken is scheduled to appear in court in June for a hearing on the alleged violations.
