Missing Woonsocket woman's home vandalized
WOONSOCKET -- The home of a Woonsocket woman who has been missing since November was vandalized Sunday evening, according to Sanborn County Sheriff Tom Fridley.
Fridley, in an interview Tuesday with The Daily Republic, said an unknown person, or persons, spray-painted the front of a home where Rachel Cyriacks, 30, lived with her husband, Brad Cyriacks, on 11th Street in Woonsocket.
One message written in spray paint reads "riverside forever." Fridley said another message "didn't describe the cops very nicely."
Several items inside the home were broken, including a ceiling fan, light fixture and table, but no items were missing, Fridley said. The home was unlocked because family members had recently moved items out of the home.
Cyriacks was reported missing in December, but has actually been missing since about Nov. 13.
Fridley said he is unsure if the vandalism is at all related to Cyriak's disappearance.
Cyriacks is described as white, 5-foot-5, approximately 140 pounds, with blonde/brown hair and hazel eyes. She has a tattoo on the left side of her neck and tattoos on her right forearm.
Anyone with information on the case is asked to the call Sanborn County Sheriff's Department or Huron police.
