Man arrested after leading Aberdeen cops on chase
ABERDEEN (AP) -- Police in Aberdeen say they've arrested a man who led five patrol cars on a high-speed chase.
Aberdeen Police Capt. Dave McNeil tells the media that the man was driving an SUV erratically late Sunday night when a police officer tried to pull him over.
The man then led four Aberdeen patrol cars and a Brown County sheriff's car on a chase around the city at speeds of up to 80 to 90 miles per hour.
The officer stopped the chase because of the high speeds and put out an alert.
Officers eventually found the car pulling up to a motel and made an arrest. The suspect's name has not been released.
