Jones were married at St. Peter & Paul Catholic Church in Dimock. After raising five children, she worked outside the home with School Food Service at Holy Family School in Mitchell for 11 years.

She was preceded in death by her husband, her parents and 5 siblings; sister Florence Gard, and 4 brothers, Leo, who died in infancy; Elmer, Ves, and Bill.
