Lower Brule man sentenced for abusive sexual contact
A Lower Brule man convicted of abusive sexual contact with a minor was sentenced Thursday.
Robert Stricker, 39, was sentenced to 30 months of custody, five years of supervised release and a $100 special assessment to the Federal Crime Victims Fund.
The conviction stems from an incident in Lower Brule between Aug. 25, 2012, and into the early morning hours of Aug. 26, 2012, when Stricker engaged in sexual contact by touching the victim over the clothes. At the time of the offense, the victim was younger than 16.
Stricker was immediately turned over to the custody of the U.S. Marshals Service.
