LETTER: Stop plots before damage happens

To the Editor:

There is still a lot of controversy over the NSA program spying on the public and violating our privacy. In this day and age with all the enemies we have plotting against us, we have no way of knowing who they are unless we check up on them. What privacy are they concerned about if they are not up to any mischief that our law enforcement people should know about? It’s a lot better to stop these plots to do damage and kill a lot of people before they happen than to live with the results after they happen.

The new Fort Hood shooting was the latest disaster that should have never happened. Anybody that buys multiple ammunition magazines or a lot of ammunition should be reported to law enforcement officers and thoroughly checked out.
