LETTER: Mitchell doesn’t need city administrator
To the Editor:
Well, again this city wants to add a city administrator. Now we went through this fiasco a few months ago, and it was soundly defeated. Why are we going there again?
We do not need a city administrator to tell our already good workers what to do. It’s a very expensive position that we do not think is necessary. We have a mayor to advise what needs to be done, and to me and a lot of others, that is enough for a city the size of Mitchell.
I know they just changed the name from manager to administrator — same thing.
Forget this proposal and get on with our worthwhile projects.
