LETTER: God’s imagination led to wonderful creation
To the Editor:
The Lord our Father, when He created everything, really has a deep beauty within him. Who would have thought to make the sky a peaceful blue color? Only the Lord could conceive of such a thing. “And, I know, I’ll make the grass green. And let’s put some streams and rivers and lakes throughout the land so mankind can have the beauty of that, plus there will be water to drink for man and all the animals I have created.”
Talking about animals, look at all the diversity of beautiful animals. Some of them aren’t so friendly, like the grizzly bear and the lion or the rhinoceros. But, aren’t they gorgeous creatures? There are so many different kinds of birds and fish. They are all their own kinds, all different and what a variety of beauty.
Not only did our Father give us all of these interesting creatures to look at and study, but He also gave us a multitude of grains to eat. We have corn, wheat, barley, rice, melons and so many more. Any gardener that takes care of plants finds beauty in his plants. Look at the plump red tomato, apples, peaches, pears and pumpkins to make delicious pumpkin pie with whipped cream on top. However, we wouldn’t have it if it weren’t for the Lord and His understanding imagination.
Besides all this, we get to eat meat. We have domesticated cattle and chickens and pigs. All these animals are unique. I don’t know how I would act if I couldn’t have a couple of eggs over easy in the morning.
There are so many different kinds of flowers, many of which are used for medicinal purposes. So many things the Lord has provided for us we don’t understand, but we have to admit our Father really went all out when he created everything. Thanks, Lord.
