Inspectors to look at Barnett Center expansion
ABERDEEN (AP) -- An inspection on Thursday will determine if the expansion of the Barnett Center at Northern State University is complete.
HKG Architecture project manager Andy Schaunaman tells the media that HKG and engineers from Roby, Quintal and Everson will look at each room one at a time to see if there's anything that still needs to be done.
Schaunaman says officials at Gray Construction told him the project would be completed by Thursday.
The project was scheduled to be done by March 27, but construction delays pushed back the completion date.
Gray Construction project manager LaVere Trowbridge says he knows that graduation is coming up and university officials want it ready for that, but the final timetable will hinge on the inspection.
