Fair City Foods in Huron recently announced they’re recalling their peaches as part of a nationwide recall of peaches distributed by a California-based company. Peaches the company packed between June 1 and July 12 tested positive for listeria. So far, police say they know of 28 cases that have been distributed by the individual.

Officials say anyone who has received one of the cases should bring them to the Huron Police Department.

Listeria is a bacterium that can cause a life-threatening infection.

Performance Radio of Huron says some of the symptoms of listeria poisoning include fever, muscle aches and gastrointestinal distress.
