Hunt Safe classes for ’14 set for Mitchell area
Hunt Safe classes for 2014 have been scheduled for the Mitchell area.
Each class will be held from 6 to 9 p.m. at the Davison County Fairgrounds Complex, and from 9 a.m. to 3 p.m. at the Mitchell Trap Club.
All materials and equipment are provided free of charge.
The dates are April 3-5, May 29-31, Aug. 14-16 and Sept. 18-20.
A Hunt Safe class is required by those between the ages of 12 and 15 to purchase a hunting license. Eleven-year-olds can also take the class if their birthday falls on or before Dec. 31, 2014.
A student must complete a minimum of 10 hours of instruction by attending all three days. The classes are provided free of charge and are taught by volunteer instructors.
All registration must be completed online prior to the class.
