Hughes County balks at AG's office, bill in Bosworth case
PIERRE (AP) — Hughes County Commissioners say they want an explanation before paying an expert witness in an election fraud case being prosecuted by the attorney general's office.
The commission has decided to delay paying a $4,440 bill submitted by a handwriting expert. The expert is being used in the case of former U.S. Senate candidate Annette Bosworth.
