HOWARD —Howard withstood a furious fourth-quarter Canistota comeback as the Tigers defeated Canistota 32-24 Friday in a Cornbelt Conference battle.

The Tigers led 26-2 heading into the final quarter and seemed to be in control, yet the Hawks had other ideas.
