Heidinger pleads guilty to sexual exploitation of a minor
A Mount Vernon man pleaded guilty Tuesday to sexual exploitation of a minor for videotaping a girl in the shower.
Adam Heidinger, 29, entered his plea during court at the Davison County Public Safety Center.
Heidinger said he "secretly recorded" the girl in November while she took a shower and the video involved nudity. The conviction -- which is a felony -- has a maximum penalty of two years in prison and a $4,000 fine.
According to a plea agreement, the state will drop a misdemeanor unauthorized recording charge and Heidinger will pay prosecution costs and any restitution.
Judge Tim Bjorkman ordered a presentence investigation and scheduled sentencing for July.
