We wake up, go to work, come home, go to bed and then do it all over again. Year after year, we do it with short breaks intermixed, and it all seems good until we stop and wonder why. Have you stopped to wonder why? Is this all there is, the here and now? Or is there more?

The truth is that God made us to have a desire to know him, to know that there is more than the day to day. We all know that there is something more going on than what we see, but some deny it. Some deny that God exists. If He exists, why doesn't He show Himself? Some deny it to the point they believe it, they stop searching for Him and then they cannot find Him. They cannot then feel His presence any more. They lose faith and lose hope that there is more than today, than what we see.

Thankfully, God sent Jesus to show us the way back to God, to reveal God. Jesus did exactly that, but still, some just want to be left alone to enjoy this life, without God. Without God, what will our life be? There will be no hope of eternity. The Bible says in Ecclesiastes 3:11, "He has made everything beautiful in its time. Also He has put eternity in their hearts ... "

God made us to need Him, to desire Him, to need a Father. He gives us hope of eternity with Him in a place where there is no suffering, no tears, no pain, only joy and love with him.

If we seek God we will find Him. He gave us His word to communicate to us who He is and what this struggle here is all about. The Bible is clear on this and explains it well for those who will seek their Father. Walking with God, is there any other way to get through this life than with our Creator, our Father, a loving God? Seek Him today and don't give up until you feel the power and presence of His Spirit with you.

"He has made everything beautiful in its time."
