Gant: Voter turnout likely to be under 50 percent
SIOUX FALLS (AP) — South Dakota Secretary of State Jason Gant says the rain and thunderstorms affecting much of the state will likely keep voter turnout below 50 percent.
Gant earlier had predicted that at least half of the state's registered voters would hit the polls during the primary election Tuesday.
