Mitchell reached a high of 84 degrees Wednesday, according to the National Weather Service. The forecast for Wednesday is mostly sunny with a high of 65, and Friday is mostly sunny with a high of 72. A slight chance of thunderstorms are forecasted Friday night and Saturday with a high of 70 Saturday and a high of 43 Sunday with a 40 percent chance of rain, according to the NWS.
