U.S. District Judge Roberto Lange ordered that St. John serve this sentence concurrent with a 12-month sentence he received in April for violating supervised release.

A grand jury indicted St. John with the charge in April and he pleaded guilty in September.

After previously being convicted of abusive sexual contact, St. John was on supervised release for three years, during which he absconded from the Glory House halfway house in Sioux Falls in February 2010.

He failed to update his sex offender registration at that time.

He was arrested in March 2010 by Bureau of Indian Affairs officers in Fort Thompson.
