Hoping to inspire others, Martinek will be demonstrating how he is able to bring metal to life in his forge. He will be forging on the museum grounds during the summer exhibition on most Fridays and Saturdays between 10 a.m. and 4 p.m.

The exhibition features works Clark has created, from early tooling and functional hinges to modern abstract sculptures. It also includes charcoal sketches, which are his map for his artistic process.

The museum is located on the campus of Dakota Wesleyan University at 1300 McGovern Ave., Mitchell. The museum's hours are 9 a.m. to 7 p.m. The museum is open by appointment only on Sundays and Wednesdays. For more information or to confirm Martinek's schedule, call 605-996-2122 or email info@dakotadiscovery.com.
