Fink nets 21 points to beat Wagner
WAGNER -- Adam Fink scored a game-high 21 points to lead Tripp-Delmont/Armour over Wagner 45-40 in a boys' basketball game Monday.
Fink also had 11 rebounds for the Nighthawks. Trevor Payer scored 10 points and grabbed nine rebounds.
Tripp-Delmont/Armour shot 16-of 32 from the field and 11-of-18 from the free-throw line. The Nighthawks had 28 team rebounds and six turnovers.
Branson Tolliver and Jack Robinson each scored 13 points for Wagner. Noah St. Pierre scored nine points. Tyler Krcil had six rebounds.
The Red Raiders shot 18-of-51 from the field and 2-of-8 from the free-throw line. The team had 17 rebounds and eight turnovers.
Tripp-Delmont/Armour is 10-3 and hosts South Central Friday in Tripp. Wagner is 6-5 and hosts Scotland Thursday.

BERESFORD -- Beresford picked up its second win for the season with a 59-36 win over Marion Monday.
Austin Carlson scored 14 points for Beresford. Trevor Anderson scored 11 points.
Beresford shot 23-of-56 from the field and 8-of-11 from the free-throw line. The Watchdogs had 29 rebounds and 12 turnovers.
Jacob Wuertz was the leading scorer for Marion with 17 points. Weurtz also had 10 rebounds. Nick Gortmaker scored 14 points. Joey Pessia had nine rebounds.
Marion shot 15-of-46 from the field and 4-of-12 from the free-throw line. The Bears had 34 total team rebounds and 26 turnovers.
Beresford is 2-10 and plays at Vermillion Jan. 31. Marion is 1-10 and hosts Irene-Wakonda today.

Armando Iron Elk scored 21 points for the Braves Damon Shields had 10 rebounds.
Marty Indian shot 26-of-73 for 36 percent from the field and 5-of-10 for 50 percent from the free-throw line. The team had 33 total rebounds and 16 turnovers.
Luke Van Gerpen scored 20 points for Avon. John Wynia scored 16 points.

BURKE -- South Central came back from a halftime tie to defeat Colome 57-32 Monday.
Dakota Votaw scored 12 points and had five assists for the Cougars. Josh Tuttle scored nine points. Tyler Frank had four assists and five rebounds. Traven Covey also had five rebounds.
South Central shot 27 percent from the field and 63 percent from the free-throw line. The team had 30 total rebounds and nine turnovers.
Terrance Kinzer scored 11 points and had five rebounds for Colome. Jordan Nelson got five rebounds.
Colome shot 25 percent from the field and 61 percent from the free-throw line. The Cowboys had 23 team rebounds and 15 turnovers.

Michael Buitenbos and Owen Medicine each scored 13 points for the Cadets. Carter Dykstra scored nine points and had nine rebounds. Micah DeWaard had seven rebounds. Jake Spoelstra had five steals and four assists.
Dakota Christian shot 25-of-38 for 66 percent from the field and 13-of-24 for 54 percent from the free-throw line. The Cadets had 22 team rebounds and 13 turnovers.
Nolyn Mikkelsen was the leading scorer for Gregory with 14 points. Mikkelsen also had eight rebounds. Andrew Taggart had eight rebounds. Jaden Bartling had six assists.

Kelly Binder scored 15 points and had six rebounds for the Fighting Cougars. Dana Kirbery scored 10 points. Natasha Krempges had seven rebounds and Jean Skoglund had six.

The Beaverettes shot 23-of-54 for 43 percent from the field and 17-of-25 from the free-throw line. The team had 26 rebounds and 14 turnovers.
Morgan Selland and Marissa Weber each scored 15 points for Sanborn Central/Woonsocket. Shelby Selland scored 14 points and Rachelle Moore had five assists.
