Sheriff Rich Mraz tells the Rapid City Journal that there is no reason for anyone to fear for their safety.

Seventy-four-year-old Fred Conley and his 73-year-old wife, Sue, were found dead in their rural home Monday morning. Mraz says the deaths were not due to natural causes, but investigators are still awaiting autopsy results.

The state crime bureau is helping with the investigation.
