Students in grades five through eight attended the Elementary Vocal contest in Armour on April 18. Results of the contest are as follows:


Superior Solos: Cody Brouwer, Maddie Miiller, Jada Plastow, Callie Hohn, Sophie Scott, Carson Brouwer, Patience Nesheim, Matthew Freeman, Noah Klock, Logan Hettinger, Jonathon Freeman, and Gabby Sonne

Superior Large Group: 5th Grade Class, 6th Grade Class

Superior Duet: Sophie Scott and Katelyn Wittstruck and Caleb and Cody Brouwer

Excellent Solos: Caleb Brouwer, Katelyn Warren, Mollie Miiller, Katelyn Wittstruck, Erica Storm, Jenna Grosdidier, Ally Feiner, Eric Gustafson, Brooklyn Dickens, and Karlie Neugebauer

Excellent Large Group: 7th and 8th Grade Girls

Good Group: Caleb Brouwer, Jonathan Freeman, and Dylan Chlmela

The Awards Banquet will be held on Thursday, May 8. at 7 p.m. in the school gym. Families with last names beginning with A-M are asked to bring a main dish and a salad and those with last names beginning with N-Z are asked to bring a main dish and a dessert.

A piano contest was held in Parkston on Saturday, April 26. Several students from Ethan competed in this contest. Receiving superiors on their piano solos were: Garrett Clendening, Ryder Clendening, Callie Hohn, Maddie Miiller, Josh Bartscher, and Erica Storm.
