DWU ministry employee dies
Dakota Wesleyan University’s associate director of young adult ministry, Brian Anderberg, died Thursday.
According to information provided by Bittner Funeral Chapel, Anderberg died from cancer in his home in Mitchell under hospice care. He was 41.
Visitation will be from 3 to 5 p.m. Sunday at Mitchell Wesleyan Church. A life celebration will be from 5 to 7 p.m. Sunday at Mitchell Christian School. The funeral will be at 11 a.m. Monday at the church.
According to Mari Olson, of DWU’s university relations, the university and community put together a number of fundraising and support efforts for Brian and his wife, Tonya, and their two children, Nathanael and Nahum.
DWU’s campus ministry set up a website where people can donate directly to the Anderberg family to help pay for medical costs at www.dwu.edu/brian.
