DVORAK: Deaths by hot car preventable
The worst part of summer is here, when children die slowly in searing-hot cars.
There were two last week, an 8-month-old in Virginia and a 16-month-old in Maryland.
Both deaths could have been prevented, if only we had the humility to accept a little help. Technology exists to make it impossible for anyone to forget the baby in the back seat. We just don't use it.
