Dave was both adept at and enjoyed mechanical work; performing much of the maintenance his trucks required himself in his own shop. He was also known to spend time helping family and friends repair mechanical issues on most anything with a motor, including boats, snowmobiles, lawn mowers and cars. In his spare time, he enjoyed boating, traveling and fishing. Over the past 15 years, Dave and his wife traveled extensively both in and outside of the Country.
