Czech Days events set today, Saturday in Tabor
TABOR -- The small southeastern South Dakota town of Tabor, population 423, will look more like a European village this weekend during the 64th annual Czech Days. For two days, the town will swell to overflowing with people from all over the region and world who come to celebrate the Czech culture. Kolaches, a Czech pastry, will be consumed by thousands and festival-goers will stay busy with a parade, music and dance performances and other activities. Following is a schedule of events.

Czech meals, plus other Czech foods and kolaches, will be served at the air conditioned Beseda Hall and Legion Hall. Legion Hall: meals served from 10 a.m. to 8 p.m. Friday and Saturday. Beseda Hall: meals served from 11 a.m. to 8 p.m. Friday and with food available until 11 p.m. Saturday meals served from 11 a.m. to 7 p.m. with food available until midnight.
