Mitchell Clifford Walter Isaak, 85, died Wednesday, January 22 at Firesteel Healthcare Center in Mitchell. Funeral service will be Saturday, January 25 at 11:00 am at Resurrection Lutheran Church in Mitchell. Visitation will be Friday, January 24 from 5:30 to 7:30 pm at Koehn Bros. Funeral Home in Parkston.

Clifford Walter Isaak was born December 22, 1928 on the family farm near Parkston, SD to Walter G. and Adina (Winter) Isaak. He was raised on the farm and enjoyed his family, his music and God's great outdoors. He was united in marriage to Eldora Schuh on May 21, 1954. They remained on the farm had two daughters, Carol and Colleen. They moved to Mitchell, SD in January, 1971. After traveling for a year, Clifford worked at Trail King before starting at Josten-Wilbert Vault Company. He semi-retired after 16 1/2 years, working at a few other places until full retirement. In retirement, he was well remembered for his accordion music, entertaining at nursing homes, private parties and many dances with Eldora at his side. Clifford went to his heavenly home on Wednesday, January 22, 2014 at Firesteel Healthcare Center in Mitchell at the age of 85.

He is survived by his wife, of 59 1/2 years, Eldora of Mitchell; 2 daughters: Carol (Allen) Linn of Center, ND and Colleen (Michael) Hendrickson of Sturgis, SD; 3 grandchildren: Janet (John) Kostelecky of Lincoln, ND; Shawn Linn of Eugene, OR; and Heidi (Josh Weller) Hendrickson of Rapid City, SD; and 4 great-grandchildren: Wesley and Wyatt Kostelecky of Lincoln, Tyler Reiser and Rylee Linn of Eugene.

He was preceded in death by his parents, grandparents and numerous aunts and uncles.
