The following cases were among those heard Tuesday during circuit court at the Davison County Public Safety Center in Mitchell.

• Randy Lee Ramsey, 35, of Sherman, pleaded not guilty to receiving stolen property, ingesting methamphetamine, possessing a firearm as a convicted felon and first-offense drunken driving; Judge Tim Bjorkman scheduled the case for jury trial in May.

• Tanner Bauer, 20, of Mitchell, pleaded not guilty to possession with intent to distribute 1 ounce or less of marijuana, possession of 2 ounces or less of marijuana and possession of drug paraphernalia; Judge Tim Bjorkman scheduled the case for jury trial in May.

• Paul Bindert, 20, of Mitchell, pleaded not guilty to possession with intent to distribute 1 ounce or less of marijuana, possession of 2 ounces or less of marijuana and possession of drug paraphernalia; Judge Tim Bjorkman scheduled the case for jury trial in May.

• Emily Truesdell, 28, of Mitchell, pleaded not guilty to hit-and-run resulting in injury or death; Judge Tim Bjorkman scheduled the case for jury trial in May.

• Pete McKeen, 42, of Mitchell, chose not to withdraw his guilty plea to sexual contact with a child younger than 16 after being properly informed of the mandatory minimum sentence of 10 years in prison.

• Cynthia Hansen, 36, of Bridgewater, pleaded guilty to third-degree burglary, a felony with a maximum penalty of five years in prison and a $10,000 fine; Judge Tim Bjorkman ordered a presentence investigation and scheduled sentencing for March.

• Larry Joe Unruh, 40, of Mitchell, pleaded guilty to possession of methamphetamine, a felony with a maximum penalty of five years in prison and a $10,000 fine; Judge Tim Bjorkman ordered a presentence investigation and scheduled sentencing for April.

• Emanuel Waldow, 19, of Mitchell, pleaded guilty to possession of 2 ounces or less of marijuana; Judge Tim Bjorkman ordered he serve 30 days in jail, with 25 days suspended, pay a fine of $350 and pay prosecution costs.

• Sarah Hauser, 31, of Iron Ridge, Wis., was sentenced to 90 days in jail, with 60 days suspended and credit for two days served, and one year on probation for possession of 2 ounces or less of marijuana; she was also ordered to pay a $350 fine and participate in twice monthly drug testing.

• Carla Benton, 35, of Sioux Falls, was sentenced to continued probation and 180 days in jail, with credit for 57 days served, for violating her probation related to a grand theft charge; Judge Tim Bjorkman ordered her to serve 60 days in jail starting Jan. 1, 2015, and 63 days starting Jan. 1, 2016.

• Dixie Maddox, 39, of Lennox, was sentenced to continued probation and 180 days in jail, with credit for 31 days served, for violating her probation related to a drug charge; Judge Tim Bjorkman ordered her to serve her jail time in segments, with 19 days starting this weekend, 65 days starting Jan. 1, 2015, and another 65 days starting Jan. 1, 2016.
