Chamberlain tops Wagner
CHAMBERLAIN -- Chamberlain led by 13 points at the half and went on to win 64-49 over Wagner in a boys' high school basketball game Friday night.
Chamberlain's Tyson Langdeau had 13 points, Gage Basting had 12 points and Clay Thunder Horse finished with 11 points.
Skyler Bertram had 10 rebounds for Chamberlain, which was 24-of-55 from the field, 10-of-13 from the free-throw line and had 16 turnovers.
Wagner's Trent Greger had 13 points and Tyler Krcil had 10 points.
The Red Raiders were 20-of-48 from the field, 5-of-8 from the free-throw line and had 14 turnovers.
Chamberlain (13-3) won the JV game and hosts Lyman Monday, while Wagner (9-8) plays today in the DWU Classic in Mitchell at the Corn Palace.

AVON -- Avon's Luke VanGerpen had a game-high 11 points and 12 rebounds in a 45-43 win over Tripp-Delmont/Armour Friday night.
Nick Poppe had 15 points and Johnny Wynia had six rebounds for Avon, which was 15-of-33 from the field and 4-of-6 from the free-throw line.
TDA's Adam Fink and Trevor Payer each had 13 points. Payer had a team-high seven rebounds. Fink added five assists.
TDA was 16-of-41 from the field, 7-of-13 from the free-throw line and had six turnovers.

WINNER -- Winner pulled out to a 13-point halftime lead and beat McLaughlin 82-48 Friday.
Winner was led by Austin Schroeder, who had 16 points and 12 rebounds. Tanner Fritz had 14 points, Kyle Mathis had 12 points, 12 rebounds and eight assists, Isiah Old Lodge and Nathan Naasz both had 10 points.
The Warriors were 34-of-72 from the field, 9-of-13 from the line and had six turnovers.
Winner (13-3) plays at St. Francis Indian on Monday in St. Francis.
McLaughlin's Hank Taken Alive had 25 points and Frank Yellow Fat had points had 10 points.
