Chamberlain gets past Lyman; Wagner honored
CHAMBERLAIN — The Chamberlain girls’ basketball team beat Lyman 50-38 Tuesday.
Wagner scored her 1,000th on the road Saturday against Cheyenne-Eagle Butte.
Tuesday the senior guard had 16 points and six assists to lead Chamberlain. Dawson Munger added 10 points and five rebounds.
The Cubs (7-2) were 15-of-44 from the field.
Lyman was led by Cedar Jandreau, who scored eight points.
The Raiders were 14-of-25 from the free-throw line.
Chamberlain won the JV game and plays Tri-Valley Saturday at the Hanson Classic at the Corn Palace in Mitchell.
