• Mitchell native and South Dakota State true freshman Megan Farnham saw action in her first game for the Jackrabbit volleyball team on Friday in a loss to Iowa State at the North Dakota Classic in Grand Forks, N.D.

• Former Wagner Red Raider Jilanne Doom, now a senior for the University of South Dakota women's cross country team, finished in the top 25 of the women's 4K Friday at the Bison Open in Fargo, N.D.

• Drew Kraft, a junior for the South Dakota State men's cross country team, placed eighth overall Friday at the Bison Open in Fargo, N.D.
