Catching up: Logan Wagner scores career-high 21 for Mount Marty

Mount Marty freshman Logan Wagner scored a career-high 21 points in a 109-86 loss to Concordia University Dec. Saturday in Seward, Neb.
Wagner, a former Parkston Trojan, shot 9 of 15 from the field in the game and is currently averaging 9.4 points per game for the Lancers.
Raquel Sutera, a sophomore and a native of Tabor, added 15 points and eight rebounds in Mount Marty’s loss to Concordia.
Mount Marty (4-7, 0-6 GPAC) returns to conference play Hastings College (11-2, 4-2 GPAC) Saturday in Hastings, Neb.
Tyler Payer, a junior for the Mount Marty men’s basketball team, had 25 and 21 points in two losses for the Lancers last week against Morningside and Concordia, respectively. Payer, an Armour native, is averaging a team-high 15.3 points per game through 10 games for the Lancers.
Mount Marty (0-10, 0-6 GPAC) will take on Hastings College (10-2, 5-1 GPAC) Saturday in GPAC action in Hastings, Neb.
Bradyn Neises, a Howard native, won his first major decision of the young season on Dec. 12 in a 38-6 victory for the Augustana College wrestling team over the University of Mary.
Neises, a junior, won his decision 17-7 at 157 pounds. He scored nine points, with four takedowns in the final period.
Augustana (5-2, 1-0 NSIC) is off until Jan. 4 when Concordia-Moorhead comes to Sioux Falls for an NSIC dual.
Chevy Fischer, a senior on the Presentation College men’s basketball team, had 10 points in the Saints’ 128-58 win over Oglala Lakota College Monday in Aberdeen. Fischer, a Chamberlain native, is averaging just over six points per game almost halfway through the season for the Saints.
Presentation (9-4) fell to Dakota Wesleyan Wednesday and returns from the break Jan. 7 to host Minnesota-Morris.
