Cancer benefit set in Plankinton
The Plankinton Student Council will sponsor its annual Shoot for A Cure Night at Plankinton High School on Friday, Jan. 31.
The night will include varsity boys’ and girls’ basketball games. There will also be numerous silent auction items up for bids. The Plankinton High School FCCLA chapter will host a soup supper from 5 until approximately 7:30 p.m.
T-shirt orders have been collected and are being printed. The shirts will be delivered before Jan. 31. There will be a limited number of shirts available in the silent auction.
If there are any donations community members would like to make, please drop them off at the front office of the school. Organizers are still accepting baskets or portions of baskets, and will continue to do so until the start of the silent auction.
Proceeds benefit the Aurora County Cancer Society. Any questions can be referred to a student council representative, or their advisers at the school, Kathy Guindon or Bert Bucher.
