PIERRE (AP) — A planned community in the Black Hills of South Dakota now has some of its lots for sale.
Powder House Pass is the second "Community Improvement District" in the state and operates as its own municipality.
The other such community is Dakota Dunes. It is located in the southeastern portion of the state.
Powder House Pass is located south of Lead and Deadwood. It has paved roads, electricity, sewer service as well as cable and cellphone service.
