DWU women’s Monday home game canceled
The Dakota Wesleyan University women’s basketball game against Trinity Bible College on Monday has been canceled.
The men’s game, which was scheduled following the women’s game, will still be played and begins at 7 p.m. at the Corn Palace in Mitchell.
SDHSAA postseason admission fees increase this fall
Admission for all South Dakota high school athletic district and region events has increased this year.
Adult tickets at $7 and student tickets are $5 for all South Dakota High School Athletic Association postseason events. This does not include state tournaments.
DWU falls to Dordt in three
The Dakota Wesleyan University volleyball team was swept 25-18, 25-8, 36-34 Tuesday in a Great Plains Athletic Conference match.
Maggie Stehly led the Tigers with 16 digs and two sets, while Hannah Hammer and Elizabeth Humiston each had nine kills.
Dordt’s Jenna Horstman had a match-high 17 kills.
DWU (7-25, 0-14 GPAC) plays York College Friday in York, Neb.
